We’ve already begun the task of laying out Primeval Thule 5e. While some of that work involves reorganization, such as moving mechanics from the appendix into the relevant chapters, we’ve also got work to do to find the right way to present compatible mechanical elements.
As Thule 5e is created under the 3rd edition-era Open Gaming License, there will be minor differences in presentation and terminology compared to a book that could be created if a similar license were available for the current game system. Things like spells, items, and monster stat blocks must be presented in a way that is easy to read and consistent with the reader’s expectations. We expect our readers to be savvy enough to understand how our mechanics should be interpreted.
Below, you’ll find the two pages of the Beastman monster entry. This is a work in progress, as we are still tuning the presentation. It’s also down-rezzed a bit from the native file, so we apologize if the text is slightly fuzzy. Click on the image to enlarge!
